Je conçois et réalise des bijoux autour d’un matériau de prédilection, le cuir. Matière vivante aux incroyables propriétés plastiques, le cuir peut être travaillé de multiples façons. Du gainage au moulage, en passant par la sculpture ou la gravure, j’aime explorer ces différents chemins, tester des techniques, les peaufiner, les mêler, et laisser la matière se transformer, parfois jusqu’à la rendre méconnaissable. Le geste, l’envie du moment et le plaisir de l’exploration technique sont parties prenantes de mon travail et guident mes choix esthétiques. Du projet imaginé au bijou fini, se déploie tout un cheminement, primordial dans l’acte créatif, qui passe par le geste technique et le contact direct avec la matière. Couper, sculpter, gainer, coudre, poncer, lustrer… Chercher la forme, mettre en volume, faire jouer la lumière, assembler, donner une texture, un toucher… Le geste accompagne l’idée, et souvent, la pensée y trouve sa source. Démarche artistique et dimension technique, ainsi liées dans un jeu d’influences réciproques, sont les deux moteurs d’un même mouvement.
Les bijoux que je créé reflètent mon attirance pour les couleurs et les textures, les motifs abstraits et les formes simples. J’aime travailler autour du contraste, aussi bien visuel que tactile, et apporter douceur et vitalité à mes créations.
J’espère transmettre à travers mes bijoux une émotion, un étonnement, une envie…

I make jewellery with my material of choice, leather. As living material with amazing plastic properties, leather can be worked in many way. From covering to molding, through sculpture to carving, I like to explore these different ways, to test techniques, to refine them, to mix them, and to let the material transform itself, until it is sometimes unrecognizable. The gesture, the desire of the moment and the pleasure of the technical exploration are part of my work and guide my aesthetic choices. From the imagined project to the finished jewel, a whole process unfolds, essential in the creative act, which passes through the technical gesture and direct contact with the material. Cutting, sculpting, covering, sewing, sanding, polishing… Seeking shape, creating volume, playing with light, assembling, giving a texture, a touch… The gesture accompanies the idea, and often the thought finds its source there. Artistic approach and technical dimension, thus linked in a game of reciprocal influences, are the two engines of the same movement.
The jewellery I create reflects my attraction to colors and textures, abstract patterns and simple shapes. I like to play with contrasts, both visual and tactile, and bring softness and vitality to my creations.
I hope to convey through my jewellery an emotion, a surprise, a desire…
